Goslings - harbinger of summer

On my way home from the Canadian border this early evening, I stopped beside the slough as two sets of proud parents took their goslings for a stroll - ah for a swim.

Spring really has sprung when the laid eggs hatch and the two and three child families glide across the bluest sunset blue pools of water that form the northern limit of Flaxton, our little prairie home village.

I will have my camera at the ready so that next time there will be pictures to illustrate the joy of watching families on parade...passiagiatta, Canada Goose style.
