Just came across a New York Times article complete with photo spread of the new drilling in the Bakkan Oil Fields of North Dakota and Montana. I hadn't realized that the fields stretched so far. I realized that Alberta and Saskatchewan were involved, but had no idea the fields stretched almost 600 miles west into Montana and abutted Glacier National Park. The issues of the article surround the fact that the Montana oil is located on the Blackfoot Indian Reservation. You may wish to take a look at the article and the pics associated.
