Delightful tale; dark, a tad complex.
The story of a young boy left behind. On the third page, I shook my head in disbelief as a major error in construction occurred.
Ah, but that was the last time I despaired. Two hundred + pages later, I was sorry the story had come to an end. Young Ren turned out to be a congenial friend, a smart youngster whose adventures kept me happily reading. I loved all the characters, even the murderer.
Try it; I think you'll like it.
